Ah yes, A Kempis. One of my faves. What else are you reading these days?
"The Scandal of the Evangelical Miind" by Mark Noll (Wheaton College).
The opening line of Chapter 1 is: "The scandal of the Evangelical mind is that there isn't much of one". It's an honest but devastating critique of Evangelicalism from a loving insider.
A must read...
